(few; north-east Australia), Chesterfield Reefs (New Caledonia), Tonga and Samoa (central Polynesia) to south Cook, Austral, Marquesas, Tuamotu and Pitcairn groups and Rapa Nui (Easter=Eastern Is. group, south-east Polynesia)
